Nominating an Individual

The Virginia Hammill Simms and Katherine & Richard Lester Awards are sponsored and administered by Community Ballet Association.  The nomination process is available online, through online submission.   Nomination submissions should be submitted from a local arts organization and should feature the nominee's volunteer contributions to the arts.

Timeline for 2026 Awards Process


- March 4, 2026 -  June 15, 2026- Open Submission Period for 2026 Awards Nominations

- September 30, 2026-5:30 pm The Ledges, 32 Castle Down Drive Huntsville.
